Attendance feature updates

Notify when attendance errors occurs

Employees often make errors when checking in and checking out using attendance machines. Now the platform picks up these errors and indicates the days on which errors have been made within the attendance tracker.

It also lodges all these errors in one tab so that it is easy to view and fix them.

Ability to view attendance for pay periods

Each employee can now view their attendance for the present pay period. This helps them focus on what's important and refer to the timestamps relevant within the current pay period.

This feature will be super helpful for the supervisors or managers who would like to view a snapshot of an employee's attendance performance for a month too.

Leave feature updates

Allow employee work handover

The system now allows employees to select a colleague to whom they will be handing over their work before going on a leave. Once the request is added by the employee, their supervisor will also be notified regarding the work handover.

Allow leave renewal based on custom dates

Tiny but mighty—this feature allows the HR to set custom dates for leave renewal. In case an employee changes their department or position in the midst of the year — a custom leave renewal date can be set up to ensure workplace policies and rules are being met.

Benefits feature updates

Manage payments for loan schemes and advanced payments

The calculations that need to be reflected in the payroll upon an employee subscribing to a loan scheme or advance payment can now be managed directly within the platform. The HR has to simply enter the start date for the repayments, the frequency, and amount that needs to be deducted from the salary and viola, all done!

In case a payment needs to be skipped, that can be accommodated too!

Run custom cycle payrolls

A great new addition, we now provide the flexibility to differentiate the pay cycle dates for the basic pay, allowances, and benefits.

Manage payable hours in detail

With different companies calculating their payroll in various ways, we have now added a separate section for configuring the payable hours. Through this, the HR can provide the platform with more details on how their payroll should be calculated—whether calculations should be based on the shifts assigned, the pay period, or a fixed number of days.

This section also allows the HR to indicate their weekends and how payments are made when employees work on holidays.

Payroll checklist

Added for the convenience of the HR and to minimize errors, the checklist covers all tasks that need to be completed before running the payroll.

Reports

Generate detailed and customized reports

All of the information that is fetched and added to the Humanlot platform can now be downloaded as a report. Reports such as attendance logs reports, lease payments, pension, payroll journals and employee information can now be generated in both excel and PDF format.

Others

Create multiple approval flows for employees

Developed to support multi level approvals and custom flows this feature allows the HR to define how the approval process must take place for specific attendance and leave related requests.
